Victoria.

I knew a girl down in London town

A very long time ago

She had a smile even when she felt low

And her hair was silky brown

I knew a girl down in London town

And looking back now I know

She had no safe place where she could go

And that is what brought her down

I knew a girl down in London town

She was always quite the show

Especially in the December snow

When she wore a silken gown

I knew a girl down in London town

That was a long time gone though

One day she became overcome with woe

Her sadness caused her to drown

I knew a girl down in London town

A very long time ago

I could have given her a place to go.

I wish she would come back down.
