A Real Solution?

Wine is fine

Who cares if it takes its time

Pooling inside your organs

Before causing your mind

To unwind

But liquor

Drains you of feeling quicker

But with it there’s no romance

No soft gentle caress

Just a mess

And suicide

Will not leave you satisfied

As you choke on your vomit

There is no glamour in

Futile sin

So I’ll stick to wine

Until it’s closing time.

The only thing that attracts people to suicide is a false notion of it being glamorous. Drinking for me was a slow suicide with many melodramatic moments.
