China

Porcelain and silk

Wrapped inside

A velvet dress

That shared its colour

With the marbles

Set in your face

Pale vision that stood

Before me

An echo of

A girl I once knew

A ghost of a

Time I forgot

Placed within a

Glass display

So no one could

Touch your frail physique

And shatter the

Beauty you hold
