Young Love

Remember the first time I saw your face?

And you were smiling across the park?

It’s an image that stayed with me for eight years

And kept my heart in the dark

Remember the first time we met?

And you punched me in the head?

I don’t remember why you did that to me

But I thought of you in bed

Remember the first time we kissed?

And how the next moment I was alone?

I never quite recovered from that until

I made you cum on the phone

Remember the first time I told you I loved you?

And you laughed and gave me a kiss?

I had to get so drunk to say it again

It’s a chance I could not miss

Remember when I asked you to marry me?

And you cried and said yes?

I have never been so afraid in my life

Without you my heart’s a mess

Remember how we said it was forever?

And we’d never spend a night apart?

But now my heart will forever be empty

I should have known from the start.

Remember how I found you?

The two of you in our room?

I didn’t think you could ever destroy me

Now I’ll never be your groom

Sorry for what you had to go through. You can really feel your emotions through your writing!

I didn’t actually go through it! Originally the final few lines were much more positive, however I decided to change it because I thought it gave it more of a kick. The first half of it is true though.

I am really enjoying your work. It’s clear to see that you are a multifaceted, talented guy. Keep up the great work!!Too many people have gone through this experience whether literally or emotionally. Sad , but that’s how love works sometimes. Keep them coming, I love it. Thanks for taking time out to visit my blog.
