Growing Up

When I was fourteen

It was eight cans of beer

And one shot of vodka

That left me sick

When I was sixteen

It was Jack on the rocks

For six straight hours

That caused me to empty

When I was eighteen

I mixed liquor with

Three shared spliffs

And passed out

When I was twenty-two,

I had a bottle of vodka

And off I went

I didn’t want to grow up.

One Response to Growing Up

  1. Ah, vodka or whiskey, always my choice.

When I was 20 it was Sake bombs, too many to count, that cleaned me out and left me passed out under the Space Needle in Seattle.

    Haha, good times!
