Radio on as we cruise past the sea

Wind in your hair and the sun in my heart

Never did I think there could be a we

The sky fades but we’ll never be apart

Little lady falls asleep by my side

One summer soon I’ll make this girl my bride

Fairground lights show the way along the pier

It’s getting late now but we can’t go home

Though I’m happy as long as she is near

There is nothing worse, than being alone

A dip in the road took away my wheel

I lost control now black is all I feel

All those years later it still don’t seem real

Drove too fast and we crashed into the sea

Dark waves took my baby away from me.
